Workshops, Critiques and One-on-One Learning I've added two new coaching sessions to my teachable.com school. For a free consultation via Zoom, click here. Or sign up for a 90 minute portfolio review. https://parkerparkerschool.teachable.com/ One of the things that has always helped me as a photographer is looking at other photographers' work. I've been influenced by some of the most well-known masters (Ansel Adams, Bill Friedlander, Michael Kenna, to name a few), as well as modern practitioners such as David DuChemin and Chase Jarvis. There's a lot to be learned from looking, reading, and participating with other shooters. To that end, I'm going to be hosting some workshops in the next year. If you want to take your photography to the next level, or are just looking to learn a bit more about the world around you, maybe I can help. Some of the ideas I've been kicking around include half-day photo-walks in the local area, some critiques and workshops on printing and presenting your images, and maybe even some longer wilderness trips. Due to the pandemic, plans for in-person workshops are currently on hold, but I can offer virtual coaching through Zoom. If you're interested in one-on-one instruction, from learning the basics, to a full-day of shooting in the field, give me a call at 248.229.7900 to discuss your needs. The best time to call is during the week, when I'm in the studio.
